Training & Education

We're here for you.

As part of its mission to represent, support and improve automotive service and repair businesses, the Car Care Professionals Network through AAIA will provide members with access to information and events that will enable them to maintain and improve their competitiveness.

DRIVE- Directory of Resources for Industry Valued Education
DRIVE, which stands for "Directory of Resources for Industry Valued Education," was created as a one-stop resource to enable the industry to locate available training and education information, materials and programs.  DRIVE's resources include manufacturers, distributors, private training organizations, associations, technical schools and other organizations providing training and education to the aftermarket.  It is set up in a Google search engine format.  For more information and to begin your search, click here.

GAAS Scholarship Opportunity
All of the net proceeds of the Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium are used to fund scholarships.  While all students are encouraged to apply, first priority in awarding scholarships is given to those pursuing a career in the automotive aftermarket, and second priority is given to sons and daughters of industry families. In just over 10 years, the GAAS Scholarship program has awarded over $1.4 million dollars to help start the careers of nearly 1,450 students.  Applications must be completed online at www.automotivescholarships.com by March 31, 2010.

The Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX)
This annual trade show is the world's largest business-to-business event for the $295 billion automotive aftermarket industry.  Attendees receive top quality networking opportunities with some of the most influential people in the industry including the suppliers of products and services they use.  They get to see the newest products, and the chance to grasp the major part they play in the aftermarket industry.

AAPEX Education Seminars
The AAPEX trade show also offers education programs where members can learn about trends and issues affecting the industry.  With this knowledge, attendees are steps ahead of their competition and able to make better decisions for their companies.  Additionally, the AAPEX education seminar topics are selected to pull best practices from other industries to help attendees stay profitable.
